After seeing Song of the sea(directed by Tom Moore),i felt it should be the best animated movie of last year(2014)..Though nominated,it didn't get the Oscar(For sure Disney's Big hero 6 did).SOTS is a good family story, which emotionally was able to capture me.I got so stuck with saoirse that i could feel what she was feeling, the beautiful hand painted backgrounds added to the fantastic storytelling not to mention the sincerity of the animation, the animators did great on this one...To tap into the world of the ancient celtic myth of the selkie,i decided to do a fan art!..i enjoyed every bit of the process.#sketchbookpro #fanart #songofthesea
